The ANOCSC Truth Seeker patrol vehicle is now on the road and ready to find you (…and your old car)…

“Truth, like old cars and silly bikes, has no special time of its own.  Its hour is now – always.”

(paraphrasing) Albert Schweitzer

1957 Lambretta’s Space Invaded

So I rode my scooter down to the milk bar in 1983 and started playing Space Invaders. I’m on the same game with one life left. I’m not sure whether the ol’ Lamby will get me home again…

1956 KMZ Russian Motorbike

Spotted this big old beasty at a servo the other day parked up in the corner between the drinks fridge and an old sit down Space Invaders game , Russian made , owner says it is still running well and rides it regularly. It also leaks oil wherever it damn pleases!

Daimler Reinwagen – is This The Right End To Kickstart?

A replica of the original Daimler Reinwagen  – which is regarded as the first internal combustion engine motorbike. It’s made of  timber and it actually works!

Who Knew GMH Built FB and EK Bikes???

These need to be mass produced – both the motorised and pushie type.

1923 BSA Motorbike

Spotter: Darren

Location: Fernvale (where all the cars and bikes retire to)

Raked back handlebars and a big horn – what more could you ask for on a motorbike that looks this good?

Indian Scout

Spotter: Darren

Location: Queensland

“I know it only has two wheels , but it is old , and it is a fricken beautiful piece of machinary , spotted it a while back in Fernvale , Qld”

BSA Bantam

Spotter: Dusty

Location: His garage

Very strong thighs required to ride this baby – otherwise you get sucked into the back wheel.

Another Dusty machine – just lying around the place…

Spotter: Dusty

Location: Where else… his house!

I bought this unfinished project a couple of months ago, a bucket list thing after a bit of a health scare.
Yamaha XS 650 motor in a Triumph frame 🙂

The ANOCSC Accounts lady took one look at this bike and said “Just riding that thing would give me a health scare!”

That would be a thumbs up for the rest of us!!

Rockin’ Ratrod Vespa

Spotter: Mike

Location: Mike’s Custom Bike Shop

“This is a pic of my rat-rod Vespa I almost finished before I ended up selling it… 1959 model..”

The staff at the ANOCSC office took a vote and decided that you should’ve kept it. Selling it just means that someone else without Mike’s vision and handcrafting skills is cruising the streets of Oregon feeling pretty good about themselves.
